The handrails have been designed to be set at different angles to suit the roof profile, and can be removed from the base plate to allow easier installation.
PREVENTING FALLS THROUGH FRAGILE ROOFS
For work on fragile sheet roofs such as general roof maintenance, repairing or cleaning skylights and gutters are some of the tasks that require quick, easy and most of all safe access to roofs. A lot of industrial roofs for example are fragile and require special attention. Although skylights can be seen in daylight from below, the hazard is that they are often brittle and are hidden from view by moss and grime on the roof. If no protection is deployed, then accidents can happen. The Oxford Safety trellis mats on strong support frames prevent falls through fragile sheet material and brittle skylights.
HANDRAILS AND SAFETY BARRIERS
Modules of the TreadLite can be used to set up temporary barriers and handrails when required in many situations. The precision angular design of the vertical posts, the out-riggers for stability, and the telescopic handrails are extremely versatile to fit many site configuration requirements to protect edges of roofs, or edges of working area. The system can build temporary walkways to suit your site requirements, and it will fit many different styles and pitches of corrugated material. This system can be very useful to make reactive roof work quick but safer.
