Gutter Cleaning

Gutter cleaning is a very important part of the annual maintenance programme of your building. Clearing a blocked gutter is a simple process; though as it involves working at height, it does present some risks. These risks can be made safe by using a row of TreadLite system spars and mats, along each side of the gully. Handrails and safety barriers can be erected to suit access from scaffolding or other means.

The TreadLite System

The TreadLite system is a lightweight, fall arrest temporary working platform. Formulated with aluminium, the system is designed to be used when performing reactive work on fragile roofs. The system is easy to use and very adaptable, with the different components of the system being able to be used independently for many different fragile roof issues.

If the roof sheeting is strong, then falls through skylights can be prevented by fitting steel spars across the purlins and locking trellis mats over them. If work is required up on the roof, then several frames and mats can be deployed to cover the work area; this can then be disassembled and re-deployed for the next part of the roof.
