The Guinness Partnership is one of the largest housing providers in England, overseeing and managing over 66,000 properties across England, providing services for 140,000 residents across the country.
A glimpse into our client’s history reveals that in 1890 Edward Cecil Guinness, the great-grandson of the founder of the Guinness Brewery, gave £200,000 to establish The Guinness Trust. This is the equivalent of at least £25 million in today’s money.
His vision was to help improve the lives of ordinary people, many of whom couldn’t afford decent homes.
Guinness Homes contacted our Sales Executive, Carrie-Anne Blunsden, to discuss the CoverSafe Spark for necessary repairs in their Housing Association properties.
They were initially interest in trialling two CoverSafe Spark mats, with the possibility of placing a larger order if the mats proved suitable for their needs.
The CoverSafe Spark loft crawl board is a lightweight, portable platform crafted from GRP, specifically designed to prevent falls through ceilings while working in roof spaces.
It's insulation offers protection against shocks from faulty or damaged electrical fittings or outdated wiring that might be hidden within thermal insulation.
This crawl board is incredibly adaptable, allowing for adjustments to fit various work areas.

The CoverSafe Spark mats were the perfect solution for site requirements. particularly due to the standout non-slip feature that impressed Guinness Homes.
Following a successful trial, they placed an order for an additional 49 mats specifically for their North-West region, with plans to procure more mats for future use across all their regions nationwide.
