Who would jump out of a perfectly good plane?
Well a member of the Oxford Safety Components team would and it was all for a good cause!
On 11th May 2025 Sindy and members of her family bravely took part in a tandem skydive to raise funds for St David's Hospice Care, a charity close to their hearts.
The weather conditions were perfect, blue skies and sunshine set the scene for an experience they won’t forget. Jumping out of a plane from 13,000ft and raising £1,555 for their chosen charity.
When asked if she would do it again- Sindy said - It was great but… Absolutely NOT!

St David’s Hospice Care provide a large range of expert services offering care and support and specialise in pain relief and symptom control to help people live and have the best quality of life possible. Their services are delivered from the comfort of their patient's homes or their purpose-built in-patient hospice.
They believe everyone should have access to high quality and compassionate palliative and end of life care, where and whenever they need it.

These services are free of charge. However, it costs £12,700 every single day to provide that care, and that number rises annually.
